Body text at this size
And the smaller size most interfaces actually use for paragraphs — the size that decides whether a pair is usable.
Caption text, which almost nothing passes.
WCAG 2.1
14.19:1
Passes AA for body text
AAA too. Swapping the two colours gives the same number — the ratio does not know which is the text.
APCA
Lc -85.4
Clears Lc 75 — body text at a normal size and weight.
Light text on a darker ground — the negative sign is the polarity.
Colour difference

Above 10 — related only in the sense that both are colours.
Nothing to fix
This pair already clears 4.5:1, so #f6d8be can stay exactly as it is. Check another pair.
And to someone missing a cone
protanopia
Ratio 14.18:1, ΔE00 84.3.
deuteranopia
Ratio 14.20:1, ΔE00 86.0.
tritanopia
Ratio 13.86:1, ΔE00 85.5.
The weakest of the three is protanopia, where the two are ΔE00 84.3 apart against 84.9 for a trichromat — still clearly two colours.
